Day 3 was allocated to discovering the city and its cultural landscape. Participants were engaged in mapping the local arts and culture scene, exploring the city both physically and virtually, guided by tasks. Part of the seminar we spent in the historical Viennese Café Landtmann to experience local couleur.

The groups produced five Cultural Landscape Maps, focusing on the case study partner’s position within the city, their target groups, competitors, and community. The encounter was followed by resuming the city walk and visiting venues to reflect on the insightful information.

Day 4 | Fiendly Match

23 | 01 | 2023

On Day 4, participants focused their efforts on elaborating a case study for the local partner Kunsthalle Wien. Participants worked at the Kunsthalle, with full access to all exhibitions, collaborating with the team of Kunsthalle and conducting interviews and interesting conversations with representatives thereof.

The resulting product contained not only a state-of-the-art analysis of the situation but also featured new suggestions for problem solutions and potential alternative scenarios. Work was performed in a structured and moderated way. The fruitful day ended with the first presentations of the case studies drafts and discussion in a collegial atmosphere.
