Iliyana Birindzhieva
I hold a Masters degree in Conference & Events Management from the Westminster University in London, UK. I'm an accomplished industry professional with over 6 years experience organising professional events and conferences ranging from 20 to 2000 people. I currently work as an events manager for a Bulgarian NGO called Tuk-Tam that invests in education, professional and personal development of young and talented Bulgarians all over the world. In my job at Tuk-Tam I'm responsible for planning and managing all aspects of our events calendar such as panel discussions, seminars, networking events, Gala Cocktail and our flagship event for 2000 people in Sofia - Tuk-Tam Hive. I would like to participate in the Festival program of Cultart Academy because I think it's a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in organising and managing cultural events which has always been a dream of mine. I think the program will be e great fit for me given my professional background and experience in the events industry and I would love to get involved in the cultural management field. I think there is no better place to do that than Plovdiv and Opera Plovdiv which has one of the best cultural programmes with lots of high quality Summer events and shows in Bulgaria. I live 15 km from Plovdiv, where I also did my Bachelors degree and I would love to be considered for the Cultart Festivals program and get trained along with other aspiring cultural managers

Elitsa Zheleva
I graduated in Cultural Management at National Academy in Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov" - Sofia, Bulgaria, and during my studies, I started working at the State Music and Ballet Center - Sofia. First, as a soloist and an assistant in advertising, a year later I switched to PR, and for the last 6 years, I have been working as an artistic secretary and a soloist. My work as an art secretary includes - the preparation and compiling of a weekly program for managing all theater teams - artists, choir, ballet, orchestra, technical and stage services...; monthly programs - repertoire plan, communication with companies for musical copyrights, etc. For the last two years, I was part of the team of the first and second editions of the Sofia International Musical Festival, which is the main reason for my willingness to participate in this program. I want to learn how to manage a festival and how to create and present a valuable product, reaching the target audience. How to properly direct the flow of information. To expand and enrich my knowledge about the audiences, the teams - necessary for the creation of an international festival, and what are the main stеps that go through the preparation, implementation, and finalization of such a large-scale festival as Opera Open.

Karina Ilieva
I am a co-producer of Varna Dance Theater – an organization in the field of contemporary dance. Since 2019 we are organizing a contemporary dance festival in Varna – ‘Dance Routes’.
I was introduced to the world of art already as a child. At the age of 10 I was accepted into the State
Ballet School in Varna. I performed as freelance dancer in Theater Magdeburg (Germany), at Varna State Opera, at Varna Dance Theater, and in different projects in Bulgaria. I expanded my education beyond the world of art by doing MA in Sociology an M.Sc. in Management and Organization, both in Germany. I believe in lifelong learning, and I am sure the program of Cultart would be very beneficial for me. My goals are: to expand my knowledge and make new connections and improve the work of our festival through know-how exchange. As a cultural manager in Varna for already four years I faced many challenges. At the same time, there is huge potential in Bulgaria and I believe that through motivated work and international exchange we can create more great results.

My involvement in opera, albeit very limited, has been through my mother, who used to work as a tailoress at the Greek National Opera. However, due to my lived experiences, through a combination of my tertiary education, recreational activities, and past long-term illnesses, I have a distrust towards and am critical of, human nature and intent

Garrisi Daniela
I am a young qualified trainee lawyer and during the day I work for the law firm founded by my father and at late night, when I come back home, I enjoy myself playing the piano. I am a curious young woman, convinced that exploring new places, people, languages and cultures is exploring myself at the end.
I was born and grown in Lecce, a small and picturesque town in Italy, but then, when I was 19 years old, I moved to the big city of Rome in order to attend "La Sapienza" University of Rome and after obtaining my Law Master degree I went back to my hometown due to the pandemic period.
If I should describe the two main features of my personality I would say reliability and creativity. Therefore while working I always try to give a clear response to people asking for their juridical issues but in a creative, sympathetic way, my own way.
The reason why I am applying to the Festival project is to explore my passion for music, and especially for classic music, opera, and piano, in an international work experience. I think that I can contribute to the project with my pragmatic and pianistic point of view.
In conclusion I am an enthusiastic team worker, infact I collaborated with different departemet projects of my University during my law studies, so taking part of a group of young experts from different countries could be an exciting opportunity for me of personal and professional growth.

Zoroddu Eloisa
My name is Eloisa, I'm 26, I'm Italian, from Rome. I study at Sapienza
University Arts and Sciences of the Performance. I'm also Austrian from
mother's side, and in Vorarlberg, Austria, I did write a Solidarity Project
financed by European Union about how to use creativity, movement (yoga, free
movement), other practices related to the nature and the body in the social
work with people of all ages, and how this can improve he social status of
people coming from isolated social groups.
My willing in participating moves from my intention to work in the cultural
field particularly using knowledge and cultural sensibility as a strong tool
for reevaluating people. I dress my interests to the body culture, so
everything connected to the body: movement in the first place, but also
sexuality and sociology, from that to psychology and philosophy. A lot of
this I found in my yoga practice and as a yoga teacher-to-be I want to
create a bridge between the high society that has the time and money to
invest in practices such as yoga, Ayurveda, art, museums, and the marginated
people that can not reach that places easily.
I want to manage culture, I want to participate in order to learn as much as
I can, meet new people, create new connections for my carrier in the field.
I hope this short presentation of mine was of any interest.
